Since there are no Windows 10 Drivers to download from the HP Support I would try installing the Windows 7 AMD Drive from HP in your Windows 10 OS and see if it installs correctly or not and if it works correctly. I would also update the Laptop to the latest BIOS version if applicable. You can download it from the last Intel Graphics & CHIPSET Drivers if the above HP G6 Laptop is the one you have from the link I posted.
You can change the OS to Windows 7 to get the HP AMD Driver which is more compatible than the Windows 8.1 HP AMD Driver for Windows 10 OS.įor the AMD Driver to work correctly you must have the latest Intel Graphics and CHIPSET drivers installed before updating the AMD Driver. Since you didn't post the exact HP Laptop you have I presume from looking at another HP G6 Notebook that it came originally with Windows 7 or 8/8.1 OS and not Windows 10.
